Finally a decision made!

At last, after much delay.....im proud to say that we have finally made a decision to have an outdoor ROM solemnization at Raffles Town Club! We decided to shift our initial plans to hold our ROM on a weekday as not many family and friends can attend the ceremony. Now, it being held on a weekend, we could invite many more friends to witness this happy occasion!

We been there previously for a wedding showcase and we liked the place very much. It has looks of grandeur and elegance. Specially liked the ROM room itself as it is well decorated...sort of like an english style setting. Also managed to book a night's stay there in a special room that comes with a spa! Sooo looking forward to the whole event on that day!We are still trying to sortout the details with our coordinator. Hopefully she can give us what we requested for or at least, suggest some alternatives. Will meet up with her again soon to sign contract once its ready.

Now that venue has been settled, we have to shift our focus to make a beautiful MTM ROM Dress which ideally should fit in with the ROM theme and a design which dar likes. We have decided to go to one of the shops in Tanjong Pagar to make that dream dress. It will take a few months for it to be ready with many more visits back to the studio to try out various designs and cuttings. It will be just in time for our big day!

We also had been hunting for wedding bands for quite a long time. Saw a few good designs previously but dont seem to see them anywhere now....was kinda worried that we cannot find a design which both of us really liked. Luckily, upon one of our numerous visits to a jewellery boutique, we saw an even nicer design at Lee Hwa. More or less we have decided to get that pair of rings... still holding out a little longer before we make up our minds by end of may 2011.

Its another long weekend this week (Labour day), and we are going to sign up for the ROM Dress package tomorrow and also visit a few jewellery shops in chinatown area to see the Si Dian Jin. Hope to find a few nice jewellery designs!

Life is of decisions

I was taken ill since Good Friday, down with fever and flu. This delayed our plans yet again, couldn't confirm my MTM dress bridal. But we came to consensus today that we shall throw a simple weekend lunch so that we won't disappoint our friends and colleagues. Babes and hunks! This is for you all... ;)

Thoughts...

I am wondering now how i am going to survive the dry spell because of wedding preparation and still have to slog at work to earn more money for the home renovations!!!
